Enjoy the beautiful view from our hotel terrace while having breakfast. In bad weather, our hall with fireplace is the ideal place to stay, as well as our TV room.

Room information

The modern, comfortable guest rooms will please even the most discerning guest. They feature shower/WC, telephone, radio alarm clock, cable TV, and room deposit box. Most of the rooms additionally offer balconies with mountain view. In the BERGFRIED building all rooms can be reached by elevator. The rates are based on one overnight stay per room, and already include city tax. Disabled people get a discount of EUR 0.50 per night.

Bad Reichenhall is situated in the centre of one of the most multifaceted holiday regions of the world: Salzburg, Koenigssee, Berchtesgaden, Burghausen, Chiemsee, Salzkammergut are all nearby and we are in the thick of it! Bad Reichenhall itself is also worth a visit, offering many tourist attractions, such as health programs, nature, sports and culture.

Travel information

Arrival by car - Motorway A8 direction Salzburg - Exit Bad Reichenhall; further direction Bad Reichenhall / Berchtesgarden - After approx. 2.7 km turn right into Salzburger Strasse - After 1km turn into direction “Kurgebiet” (Muenchner Allee) and follow the hotel route signs - You may arrive via Adolf-Schmid-Strasse: opposite the train station; turn left into Mozartstrasse; right into Salzburger Strasse and then into Adolf-Schmidt-Strasse (RED Hotel Route signs) - OR via Tivolistrasse: After reaching the resort centre turn the second street left into Liebigstrasse; drive left past Kaiserplatz (by crossing the pedestrian zone); drive via Heiligbrunner and Wiesbacher Street towards Tivolistrasse (Yellow Hotel Route signs). The airport Salzburg is only 15 minutes by car. The airport Munich is at a distance of approx. 150 km.

Hotel garni BERGFRIED & SCHOENBLICK is centrally but yet idyllically located in the heart of Bad Reichenhall. All guest rooms have been refurbished and offer all comfort you are accustomed to. The new connecting annex of the hotel, finished in 2006, features a large, bright breakfast room and a spacious wellness area with steam bath, Finnish sauna, solarium, recreation room and outdoor area. Feel welcomed in our inviting reception area. We offer a well extended breakfast buffet each morning which you can enjoy in the bright surrounding of the new breakfast room with view of the garden. A small library with internet access is at our guests' disposal as well. Please note also our 4-day thermal package and our 7-day offer!
