Of the rooms provided, 9 are single rooms and 26 are double rooms. The 2 room categories, Elizabeth and Luther, has different room size. All rooms have a beautiful view of the Thuringian forest, the city of Eisenach or the Wartburg castle.

The restaurant "Landgrafenstube" has received numerous awards for the delicious cuisine prepared by our chef Peter Herrmann. Enjoy excellent meals and professional service. We also have a wine cellar with an excellent selection of classic and unique wines.

Area information

The Wartburg itself as UNESCO world-heritage site already offers many reasons for a cultural program. Eisenach, though, came to international fame not only because of the Wartburg but also because of Martin Luther’s translation of the New Testament and as the city of birth of Johann Sebastian Bach. Apart from the better known places of interest a large number of interesting museums offers ample diversion during your stay. In close proximity, just a few minutes distance by car, the sportive guest has the possibility of playing golf or tennis or of horse riding. Hiking, jogging or Nordic Walking is possible starting directly at the hotel. In the delightful surroundings of the Wartburg a wide variety of hiking or walking paths – well signposted - has been established.

A shuttle takes you from the hotel car park directly to the hotel. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant. Please note that guests staying in Eisenach are required to pay an additional tourist tax. A total of EUR 2 per person, per night will be added to the final invoice.
