Hotel information

Our extended hotel resort seems to be a little village itself. All houses are easy reachable with a short walk through the hotelpark or through submontane accesses. Enjoy the feeling of freedom and silence amongst fresh alpine air on our huge sunbathing area in the hotels park. Explore the grotto within this park, read a book in our pavilion or listen to the calming ripple of a fountain.

Room information

Enjoy the splendid view to the mountains of Wetterstein-Gebirge and Murnauer Moos from your own balcony. After a good nights sleep we serve a rich breakfast buffet in our panoramic restautaurant. All rooms are equipped with shower/ toilet, telephone, tv and balcony. All houses are individually furnished and uniquely styled.

Food & beverage

We offer regional and international specialities from the buffet at the Panorama restaurant. The culinary highlights are our BBQ eves in the summer. Enjoy the sun, an outstanding view, coffee and cake at the terrace during the warm seasons. Die away the day with a good wine or beer at the cosy “Alpenblick Stüberl” with its tiled stove room.

Area information

There are various attractions for all kinds of interest. Munich, Zugspitze, castles and monasteries as well as many of the bavarian cultural sights are reachable within one hour. Visit famous churches and monasteries like Wieskirche, Kloster Ettal and Kloster Benediktbeuren or the beautiful castles of Neuschwanstein, Hohenschwangau and Linderhof. Many hiking and biking trails start directly at the hotel. Mountain climbers love the closeness to Karwendel- und Wettersteingebirge. Bike rental at the hotel. In winter time there are various ski pistes and cross country ski tracks while in summer month many clear blue alpine lakes offer relaxation and a refreshing bath.

Travel information

From Munich (40 min.): motorway A95 München-Garmisch, exit 10 Murnau/Kochel. Continue to Murnau and afterwards to Ohlstadt. Havind reached Ohlstadt turn left to the church and continue till you reach the hotel. From Weilheim/Murnau B2 from Weilheim/Murnau to the exit Ohlstadt (shortly in front of a motorway tunnel). Turn left here. Having reached Ohlstadt turn left to the church and continue till you reach the hotel. From Garmisch-Partenkirchen B2 from Murnau. Directly behind the motorway tunnel turn right to Ohlstadt. Having reached Ohlstadt turn left to the church and continue till you reach the hotel.

Quick description

The hotel Alpenblick is located within a large park of 25.000 m². The architecture of the house is in an alpine style. From the balconies and our terraces you’ll have an impressive panorama to the Alps. We are situated within one of the most beautiful landscapes of Bavaria, the Werdenfelser Land. Ohlstadt is a small village far away from the mass tourism and the perfect starting point for your excursions.
