On sunny days our guest take their breakfast on our terrace with view to the "Altmühl-Aue" In the evenings you can relax in our bar "la Luna" offering a comfortable atmosphere and a variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Our chimny room is cosy and invites you on cold autumn and winter evenings. For relaxation the „Club Vital“ is at our guests´ disposal and offers sauna, steaming bath and different beauty treatments. Furthermore our hotel features an adventure pool with many attractions e.g. waterfall, whirlpools, massage chair. We additionally are equipped perfectly for conferences, besides several conference rooms the town hall can be booked as well.

Our four star hotel provides cosy and comfortably furnished rooms. To ensure the right ambience 44 different furnishing styles could be chosen, always combined with generous en-suite bathrooms. For allergic persons we reserve our "Bio”-rooms which are furnished with specially selected natural materials. Of course non-smokers may use rooms on the extra non-smoking floors of the hotel.

In our restaurant "Chicorée“ we offer a various choice ranging from typical regional "bratwurst" to a candle-light-dinner. Later you can enjoy the rest of the evening in our bar "La Luna"

Our restaurant presents itself under the new name "Le Loup". Our menue offers you alternatives of steaks, as well as outlandish fish dishes of fresh- and saltwater fishes. Opening times of the restaurant: closed on mondays and tuesdays, wednesday-sunday 11am-2pm and 5.30 pm- 10pm.

Area information

Located between the three large lakes of Altmühlsee, Großer Brombachsee and Kleiner Brombachsee, the hotel provides the ideal base for exploring nature in the Franconian Lake District and the Altmühltal Nature Park. Retrace the steps of the ancient Romans, visit castles and palaces, or delve into the age of the dinosaurs by visiting the Fossil Museum and quarries. The lake Altmühlsee lies just 1.2 kilometres away and can be reached via a cycle path. The other two lakes lie at a distance of 6 kilometres. Our traditional hotel is located in the heart of the Franconian lake plateau, near the Altmuhl Promenade. The Altmuhl Bicycle Path passes right behind our house.
